Preventdamagewhenclampingthemotorintoavise;clamponthe
frontangeonly.Also,useavisewithsoftjaws.
3.Clampfrontangeofmotorinavisewithsoftjawswiththeshaftenddown.
4.Loosencapscrewsfromtherearcover.
5.Removemotorfromthevise.Turnmotorsothattheshaftendisfacing
down.Removecapscrews.
6.Separaterearcoverfrombody.Liftrearcoverfrommotor.
7.Carefullyremovebody.Liftbodystraightuptoremove.Makesuretherear
wearplateremainsonthedriveandidlergearshafts.Removeanddiscard
O-ringsfromthebody.Locateandretrievedowelpins.
IMPORTANT
Notepositionoftheopenandclosedsideofthewearplatesbefore
removing.Also,identifywearplates(frontandrear)withamarker
forproperassembly.
IMPORTANT
Marktherelativepositionsofthegearteethandthewearplatesso
theycanbereassembledinthesameposition.Donottouchthegear
surfacesasresidueonhandsmaybecorrosivetogearnish.
8.Carefullyremoverearwearplate,idlergear,drivegearandfrontwearplate
fromthefrontange.
9.Removeanddiscardback-upgasketsandpressuresealsfromwearplates.
