Note:Wheninstallingbearingconesontotheinputshaft/piniongear,pressonly
ontheinnerraceofthebearingcone.
1.Iftheinnerbearingconewasremoved,pressanewbearingconeallthe
wayontotheinputshaft/piniongear.
2.Placetheshaftandbearingassemblyinthebearingcaseandinstallthe
outerbearingcone.
Note:Thebearingsmustbecompletelyseated.Thereshouldbenoinput
shaft/piniongearendplay.

x1.5hexheadcapscrewintothesplinedendoftheinputshaft/piniongear
andslowlytightenthelocknutuntil0.4to0.7N·m(4to6in-lb)offorceis
requiredtorotatetheinputshaft/piniongearinthebearingcase.
7.Securethelocknutwiththestakewasher.
