bytheTECtoidentifyanelectricalsystemmalfunction(fault)thatoccurred
duringmachineoperation.UsetheInfoCenterDisplayforfaultretrieval.
Note:Thefollowinglistoffaultcodesidentieselectricalproblemsthattypically
willpreventnormalmachineoperation.TheInfoCenterDisplaywillidentify
existingfaultsiftheyshouldoccur.Faultcodes13through24identifyproblems
withinputs(e.g.,switches,sensors)totheTEC.Forinputproblems,usethe
InfoCenterDisplaytocheckthedifferentswitchpositionsbeforeremovingor
replacingthecomponent.
Note:Faultcodes26through58identifyproblemswithoutputs(e.g.,solenoid
coils,lightbulbs)fromtheTEC.Theseoutputproblemsmightinvolveissueswith
thewireharnessortheactualoutputdevice(solenoidcoilorbulb).
Note:Ifanelectricalenginefaultoccursduringmachineoperation,thefaultwill
bedisplayedontheInfoCentertonotifytheoperator.Theenginefaultwillbe
retainedintheengineECUandcanbeviewedusingtheenginediagnostictool
byyourT oroDistributor.EnginefaultsarenotstoredintheTECsotheycannot
beviewedusingtheInfoCenterFaultsScreen.
