parkingbrake(Figure10)topreventthemachinefrom
accidentallymoving.Ifthemachineisparkedona
steepgrade,ensurethatyouengagetheparking
brake.
•Toengagetheparkingbrake,pullbackonthe
parking-brakelever.
•Todisengagetheparkingbrake,pushthe
parking-brakeleverforward.
Note:Disengagetheparkingbrakebefore
movingthemachine.
•Ifyouparkthemachineonasteepuphillor
downhillgrade,shiftthetransmissionintoP(PARK)
andengagetheparkingbrake.Placechocksat
thedownhillsideofthewheels.
