Initial Steps before NRMM Speed Calibration
1. Select NRMM Speed Calibration via HMI maintenance menu.
• PPrree--ccoonnddiittiioonnss:: engine must be running and unit must be operating in temperature control mode in order to
perform NRMM Speed calibration.
2. Ensure trailer rear doors are fully open prior to initiating calibration (To apply high engine load conditions).
• HMI shall request technician to confirm this (after selecting NRMM Speed Calibration via HMI):
• Once confirmed by technician via HMI, the unit will transition to high speed (if not already running in high
speed).
3. Check and confirm that the engine throttle is in contact with high speed stop screw.
• Recommend to use feeler gauge or place a piece of paper between stop screw and engine throttle to determine
confidently that the screw is in contact with the stop.
• This check is to ensure that the engine high speed is limited by the high speed stop screw position (and not the
throttle linkage).
