Conveyor with central drive
The belt tension must always be as low as possible. A correctly tensioned
belt lies evenly on the bed during operation without any buckling or bulges.
Precondition:
The machine has been taken out of operation.
The machine has been secured against being switched on again.
All rollers or drums are positioned at right-angles to the conveying direc-
tion and centrally in the conveyor.
The belt is positioned in the middle in the conveyor.
Tensioning the belt
Carry out the following work steps:
Turn the tensioning wheel (1) in a clockwise direction.
? During tensioning, the belt may only be stretched by maximum 0.2 %.
Mark the belt with adhesive tape or a thin marker to check the
stretching of the belt.
The belt has been tensioned.
