Fitting the side guide
Carry out the following work steps:
Carry out the work steps described in "Replacing the side guide".
The side guide has been fitted.
The belt has been replaced.
Tensioning / adjusting the belt
Conveyor with terminal drive
The belt tension must be as low as possible. A correctly tensioned belt lies
evenly on the bed during operation without any buckling or bulges.
Precondition:
The machine has been taken out of operation.
The machine has been secured against being switched on again.
All rollers or drums are positioned at right-angles to the conveying direc-
tion and in the middle of the conveyor.
The belt is positioned in the middle of the conveyor.
Removing the covers
Carry out the following work steps:
Remove covers (1) and (2).
The covers have been removed.
