Replacing the drum
Drive- or deflection drum (conveyor bed)
Precondition:
The machine has been taken out of operation.
The machine has been secured against being switched on again.
The gear motor has been removed.
The side guide has been fitted.
Removing the covers
Carry out the following work steps:
1. Remove the covers (1) and (2).
2. Remove the finger guard plates (3).
The covers have been removed.
Loosen the belt
Carry out the following work steps:
1. Loosen the snub roller (1) by adjusting the tensioning bolts (2).
2. Loosen the joining elements of the flange bearings (3) on the drive side
or on the deflection side.
