Fitting the covers
Carry out the following work steps:
Fit the covers.
The covers have been fitted.
The belt has been tensioned and adjusted.
Replacing the gear motor
Conveyor with terminal drive
For some maintenance and repair work, the gear motor must be removed
but not replaced. When replacing the gear motor, obtain the new gear motor
according to the spare parts list and prepare it according to the manufac
-
turer's specifications.
Precondition:
The machine has been taken out of operation.
The machine has been secured against being switched on again.
The motor has cooled down.
Removing the gear
motor,
motor position M1
Increased risk of accident!
The motor may tilt and crush parts of the body.
Secure the motor to prevent it falling.
Use hoists to lift the motor on and off.
Carry out the following work steps:
1. Remove all power supply lines from the motor.
2. Remove the cap (1).
