TARGET PRECISION
If better than normal precision is required, the 4640-B may be
programmed to automatically increase the count time to reach the
desired precision.
The 4640-B count time will be adjusted (up to a maximum of 60
min) to obtain the specified precision. The required precision time is
rounded to the nearest 15-second interval.
6. SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
Press 〈SHIFT〉 and 〈SPECIAL〉. Either press 〈YES〉 once then
〈START/ENTER〉, or 〈5〉 for:

Input the desired precision and press 〈START/ENTER〉.
The gauge will request the thickness of the overlay for
measurement. Input the thickness and press 〈START/ENTER〉.
Place the gauge on the asphalt and start the 1-minute baseline count.

(START to begin)
When the baseline count is complete, start the target precision
count.
