LEAK TESTING
To ensure the integrity of the radioactive source encapsulation, the
4640-B must be leak tested at intervals not exceeding six months
unless otherwise indicated by your license.
Using the Troxler Model 3880 Leak Test Kit (PN 102868) and
accompanying instructions, perform the following procedure:
Write the gauge model number and serial number on the wipe
disk.
Locate the area directly to the left of where the handle
mechanism enters the top shell (body) of the gauge.
Using the wipe disk, wipe the area around and to the left of the
location where the handle mechanism enters the gauge body.
Pack the disk, as instructed, in the envelope and mail to Troxler
Electronic Laboratories, Inc. for analysis.
Secure the gauge properly.
