SOURCE DECAY
Refer to page 3–9 for more information on the use of this feature.
The Source Decay function instructs the gauge to calculate a
theoretical set of standard counts. The factory standard counts are
“adjusted” mathematically to compensate for the 2.3% per year
source decay. These counts can be compared to the current standard
count. The correction formula uses daily increments to compensate
the effects source decay on the standard counts.
6. SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
The adjusted counts may be compared to the existing daily standard
counts to determine if the gauge is operating properly.
Press SHIFT and SPECIAL.
Either press YES four times then START/ENTER, or press
13 for the display:
