Locking the phone to prevent misuse
You can stop unauthorized parties from using certain functions on your phone
while you are away. E.g. the dialing of external phone numbers and access to
your mailbox can be prevented. Ask your administrator which features are lo-
cked.
Requirement: You have received a corresponding code number from the res-
ponsible administrator.
Lock phone in system

Select and confirm.

Unlock the phone again

Lock local phone
Locking the phone
To protect the phone against unauthorized access, you can lock the phone so
that nobody can make calls or change settings without knowing the User pass-
word.
Predefined numbers from the dial plan can still be dialed when the phone is lo-
cked. For more information, contact your administrator.

When the receiver is disconnected, a special dial tone is heard.
OpenScape 4000-internal can be selected as usual.
