17.2 Regolazione della protezione
Per registrare I'altezza della protezione
rispetto al legno da tagliare, agire nel
seguente modo:
* svitare la leva (D) Fig. 17 che fissa la
protezione al coltello divisore
* spostare il altezza mediante
I'impugnatura, la pratezione (E) Fig. 17 nella
posizione desiderata di lavoro, tenendola 3 o
4 mm piu alta rispetto al legno da tagliare ed
awitare la leva (D) Fig. 17 bloccandola
* la vite (C) Fig. 16 e regolata II fabbrica
affinche i denti della lama impegnati nella
lavorazione restino aH'intemo della
protezione

17.1 Verwendung der Schutzvorrichtung
A: guard body with suction outlet
B: guard adjustment and locking lever
C: guard height adjustment screw
17.2 Adjustment of the saw guard
To adjust the saw guard height respect to
the workpiece to be cut, proceed as follows:
* Loosen lever (D), fig. 17, that fastens
the guard to the riving knife, thus setting its
vertical motion free;
* Grasp the handle provided on the guard
(E), fig. 17, and move the protection hood to
the correct working height, i.e. about 3-4
mm above the workpiece, then lock it in
position again upon handle (D);
* Screw (C), fig. 16, was set in our plant
before machine delivery so to guarantee the
full coverage of all the teeth protruding out
of machine table.
IMPORTANT: WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND
AFTER EACH CUT TO ALWAYS PUSH THE
GUARD DOWN ONTO THE TABLE AND LOCK
IT IN THIS POSITION.

17.3 Manutenzione della protezione
La protezione non ha bisogno di alcuna
manutenzione particolare.
Periodicamente:
* verificare "IT "bloccaggio della leva di
regolazione (BTTTg.16,
* controllareTTstelli in legno sulla parte
inferiore all'intemo "della protezione
N.B. Lo spessore minimo deve essere di
3 mm - nel caso contrario, sostituirli
* pulire la protezione con un aspiratore.
17.3 Maintenance of the saw guard
This saw guard requires no special
maintenance. Only periodically:
* Check adjustment lever (B), fig. 16, is
accurately tightened;
* Check and eventually replace the
wooden slats placed inside the hood if worn
out or damaged (the minimum thickness
required is 3 mm);
* Clean up the guard with a vacuum
cleaner.

17.2 Einstellen der Schutzvorrichtung
Um die Hohe der Schutzvorrichtung auf das
zu schneidende Werkstilck einzustellen,
mu& wie folgt verfahren werden:
* den Hebel (D) Abb. 17 losen, mit dem
die Schutzvorrichtung am Spaltkeil befestigt
ist;
* mit dem Griff die Schutzvorrichtung (E)
Abb. 17 in die gewunscnte Arbeitshohe
bringen, wobei die richtige Hohe liegt 3 oder
4 mm uber dem zu schneidenden
Werkstuck; den Hebel (D) Abb. 17 anziehen
und blockieren;
* die Schraube (C) Abb. 16 ist werkseitig
so eingestellt worden, da£ die Sagezahne
wahrend der Bearbeitung innerhalb der
Schutzvorrichtung bleiben.
N.B. NACHDEM DER SCHNEIDEVORGANG
BEENDIGT IST, MUSS DIE
SCHUTZVORRICHTUNG IMMER BIS AUF DEN
ARBEITSTISCH HERUNTERGELASSEN UND
BLOCKIERT WERDEN.
17.3 Wartung der Schutzvorrichtung
Fur die Schutzvorrichtung ist keine spezielle
Wartung erforderiich, trotzdem sollten
periodische Kontrollen durchgefuhrt werden,
undzwar
* muS die Blockiemng des Einstellhebels
(B) Abb. 16 kontrolliert werden;
* mussen die Holzleisten an der unteren
Innenseite der Schutzvorrichtung uberpruft
werden (N.B.: Die Mindeststarke betragt 3
mm - falls de Leisten dunner sind, mOssen
sie ausgewechselt werden);
* muS die Schutzvorrichtung mit einem
Staubsauger regelmaBig gereinigt
werden.
