 Selecting the Ignore Min Distance check box operates the gate without taking into account
the distance entered for the Minimum distance setting.
 Minimum distance sets the smallest distance between two readings.
 Retry sets the number of consecutive failures before registering an error
 Starting delay sets the waiting time between the command and the actual gate motion start.
 Timeout sets the duration of a complete gate motion.
Some Ver-Mac products offer a different parameters for the gate operation. Their motor is equipped
with a build-in potentiometer and limit switches.

 Soft Start is used when starting the motor to ignore a certain number of cycles before the
motor reaches its maximum speed.
Since the displacement is evaluated every 100 ms, a value of 5 means that any error that
might occur in the first 500 ms will be ignored.
