User’s Manual
26 Version 2.1
Reversal Ratio is used when there is a sudden change of direction. In this case the Soft Start
is not sufficient and errors are sometimes detected.
A value of 3 works well from 12 to 24 V. For a Soft Start of 5 and a Reverse Ratio of 3, any
errors that may occur within 1500 ms (5 x 3 x 100 ms) after a raise-lower or lower-raise or
direction change.
Minimum Feedback is the minimum variation of the analog feedback detected in 100 ms
when the motor is in motion. This feedback is proportional to the supply voltage.
Feedback Debounce: You need to see a change in the ADC count below the minimum
feedback plus the feedback bounce before you detect an error and stop the motor.
It is the application in the HMI that will make the decision to raise or lower the barrier
following the detection of this error.
Selecting the Feedback Motor check box enables the fail detection.
4.4.3 JamLogic Software
