6.5.4 Counter - Additional functions
The following additional functions may be set via the parameterization
for every counter:
n Gate function
The gate function serves the start, stop and interrupt of a count
function.
n Latch function
An edge 0-1 at the digital input "Latch" stores the recent counter
value in the latch register.
n Comparison
You may set a comparison value that activates res. de-activates a
digital output res. releases a hardware interrupt depending on the
counter value.
n Hysteresis
The setting of a hysteresis avoids for example a high output tog-
gling when the value of an encoder signal shifts around a compar-
ison value.
