MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The Weiler E1650 is a self-propelled remixing transfer vehicle used for transferring hot-mix asphalt
from transport vehicles to an asphalt paver. The E1650 is used in continuous, non-contact paving and
helps to eliminate truck end segregation and adds a surge capacity to the paving train. Optional
Weiler hopper inserts for the paver will provide additional storage capacity.
A pivoting operator’s control console is provided on the shiftable platform to allow for the operator to
choose left or right-side operation. All operational functions can be controlled from the operator’s
platform. A control panel is located on each side of the machine near the front for a ground operator
to control the hopper and cleanout functions. An additional service control panel is located near the
rear of the machine to aid in discharge conveyor and storage hopper cleanup.
Options available are 12kW generator, work lights, blade lights, paver hopper insert, truck hitch,
windrow attachment, automatic lubrication system, ground speed indicator, internal spray down
system, tire spray system, 60 gallon (227 L) spray down tank, camera system, truck signal lights,
distance-from-paver system, paver hopper level system, fume evacuation system, high wear resistant
conveyor floor, and rear steer.
