Machine Cleanup
MACHINE CLEANUP
At end of the day’s operation, clean machine to remove build-up of material on the elevator, conveyor,
remix hopper, dump hopper and push rollers.
The spray down solution tank enables the use of environmentally safe fluids.
Some solvents used to clean the machine are not environmentally acceptable and alternate spray
down solutions must be used. Check local regulations for the use of solvents and cleaners.
NOTICE: Regardless of spray down solution type used, it is important to clean and lubricate
machine at the end of each working day while the asphalt and components are hot.
NOTICE: If a high pressure washer or air nozzle is used, do not point directly at machine controls
and electrical / electronic devices. Machine damage may occur.
The spray down system uses liquid from the spray down tank. Machine is equipped with a flexible
hose and spray wand which can be uncoupled and connected to other fittings provided on machine for
cleanup. Locations include left caster mount, right caster mount, and right rear fender.
Open cleanout doors and dump any remaining material from dump hopper, elevator, remix hopper
and conveyor.
WARNING
Some spray down solutions and fumes can explode and burn.
No smoking. No flame. Do not spray near a hot or running engine.
