Replacing the Main Board
Procedure
1. Open unit using the Disassembly
Procedures (page 49) directions.
2. Remove printer assembly using the
Replacing the Printer Assembly (page 50)
directions.
3. Disconnect the locking connection for the
power supply and the battery.
4. Remove the ribbon cable that attaches the
top case.
5. Remove the 5 self taping screws holding
the board into place. See Figure 51.
6. Carefully lift and slide the board toward the
power supply.
