1. Verify that you are using the Monitor profile, which contains the Alarms tab.
2. Touch the Alarms tab.
3. Touch the Pulse rate tab.
4. Enter the desired upper and lower alarm limits for pulse rate using the up/down arrow keys or
the keypad.
5. Touch the Home tab.
The new alarm settings display in the Alarm Limit control button.
Manual parameters frame
The Manual parameters frame, located in the lower right of the Home tab, supports manual entry of
parameters.
Note Manual parameters are not available in the Triage profile. In addition, you cannot
manually enter the temperature parameter when you have a monitor configured
with a SureTemp Plus temperature module.
Enter manual parameters
Note The Manual parameters frame allows you to enter measurements taken manually.
You can configure the parameters in Advanced settings.
1. From the Home tab, touch anywhere within the Manual parameters frame.
The Manual tab appears.
2. Touch the up/down arrow keys or the keypad to manually adjust height, weight, pain level,
temperature, respiration level, or other parameters.
Note If you do not select each parameter, that parameter's settings will
be left blank. Ensure that the current patient ID is correct before
saving.
