REMOVING OIL PUMP
1.
Remove the four pump mounting bolts. Detach the oil pump.
NOTE
FOR
REASSEMBLING: Tighten the bolts

to
12
Nm

ft-Ibs.).

REMOVING CRANK GEAR
1.
Set a special puller on the crank
gear.
2.
Screw
in
the center bolt of the puller, and draw out the crank
gear.
NOTE
FOR
REASSEMBLING: Check to see that the
key
is
on
the crankshaft. Heat the crank gear
to about
99
0
C
(120
0
F),
and fit
on
the crankshaft. If there is fear of the shaft being damaged, heat
the gear more and fit.
