Westerbeke Universal M-50 - Removing Crankshaft Oil Slinger; Removing Gear Case

REMOVING GEAR CASE
1. Remove the gear case cover.
2. Remove the O-ring.
NOTE FOR REASSEMBLING:
Check to see if there are three O-rings inside the gear case. Apply
a thin film of engine to the oil seal, and install it, noting the lip come off. Before installing the gear
case gasket,
apply a non-drying adhesive. Tighten the oil filter cartridge by hand.
REMOVING CRANKSHAFT OIL SLINGER
1. Remove the crankshaft collar.
2. Remove the O-ring.
3. Detach the crankshaft oil slinger.
