6.5 Fuses
6.5.1 Fuses on device version decentral IP65
The power supplies are to be secured with the fuses specified in the table:
Fuses
Logic supply (F2)
X8 (pin 1 + 2)
Fuse or similar with max. 4 AT
Power supply (F1)
X8 (pin A + B)
Fuse or similar with max. 10 AT
Brake chopper
X8 pin (C)
Fuse or similar with max. 5 AT
Further requirements regarding UL conformity are listed in chapter 2.1.2.
6.5.2 Fuses on device version central IP20
The power supplies are to be secured with the fuses specified in the table:
Fuses
Logic supply (F2)
X8 (pin 1 + 2)
Fuse or similar with max. 4 AT
Power supply (F1)
X7 (pin 1)
Fuse or similar with max. 10 AT
Brake chopper
X7 pin (6 + 7)
Fuse or similar with max. 5 AT
Further requirements regarding UL conformity are listed in chapter 2.1.2.
6.5.3 Motor circuit protection
Circuit breaker hardware to protect the motor is not required as the motor is protected
from overloading by an I²t function in the software and by an optional motor temperature
sensor.
