5.3.1 Use as remote control
If the RM-2 detects another system controller (BM or BM-2), the
RM-2 will be used to operate an assigned heating/mixing circuit or
all circuits (program selection and set value). The RM-2 provides a
screen which can be used to select the heating/mixing circuit to be
controlled (see Section 10.2). The RM-2 will return to the standard
display after the circuit is selected.
5.3.2 Use as controller
If no other system controller is detected, the RM-2 will function as
a complete (room temperature) controller for the heating and/or
ventilation unit. No additional conguration is required. The RM-2 will
then return to the standard display (see Section 10.3).

When used as a controller, the RM-2 calculates the set ow
temperature of the heating appliance on the basis of the
room temperature. The ventilation level can be congured for
the ventilation unit.
5.3.3 Changing the function of the RM-2 / RM-2 Wireless
Once the RM-2 has stored its function (remote control (incl. heating /
mixer circuit assignment) or controller), this function will be stored in
the RM-2 until the device is reset.
The RM-2 must be reset before it can be added to a new system
conguration (see page 22, para.: 6.2.)
