5.3 Automatic determination of the function of the RM-2
The RM-2 can function in two ways:
– as a remote control for one or all heating/mixing circuits
– as a (room temperature) controller
Following a restart, the RM-2 unit will automatically detect the
possible functions based on the connected eBus system:
– If another system controller is detected in the eBus system (BM
or BM-2), the RM-2 will function as a remote control for a heating/
mixing circuit
– If no other system controller is detected, the RM-2 will function as
a complete (room temperature) controller for the heating and/or
ventilation system.
