Verifying the Software
You can test the printer software to confirm that it is operating correctly. The test checks software
files to confirm that they are not corrupt. If the printer software appears to function improperly, a
Xerox representative can ask you to perform this test.
1. In Xerox
®
CentreWare
®
Internet Services, click Properties→Security.
2. Click Software Verification Test.
3. To begin the test, click Start Test.
4. To interrupt and cancel the test, click Cancel.
Note:
• You can continue to use the device while the test is running.
• If the test fails, the software files are corrupt. It is recommended that you reinstall the
software. For help, contact a Xerox representative.
