Print Universal Unique ID
This feature prints unique ID (UUID) on each page of the print job. A special application can
be used to search for the print job log using the printed UUID as the search key. When
image log control is being used, control can be done by linking to the log control feature.
Note
• For information about performing hidden printing of text strings, refer to “Watermark” (P. 233).
• A special application is required for UUID analysis. Contact your dealer for details.
• For information about the Image Log Control feature, refer to “Security Feature Overview” (P. 230).
1. Launch your web browser and access CentreWare Internet Services.

Using CentreWare Internet Services” (P. 35).
• If you are prompted to enter the administrator's ID and password, enter them and click [OK].
2. Click the [Properties] tab.
3. On the menu on the left, click [Security] > [Watermark] > [Universal Unique ID].
The [Universal Unique ID] screen is displayed.
4. Configure the settings.
Setting Description
Print Universal Unique ID Specifies whether or not to print the UUID.
•[No]
•[Yes]
Print Position Specifies the Universal Unique ID print position.
• [Top Left], [Top Center], [Top Right], [Bottom Left], [Bottom Center],
[Bottom Right].
Print Position Adjustment
(Length Y)
Allows fine adjustment of the UUID vertical print position in the range of
0 to 100 mm.
