Enter a “1” at the prompt in order to start the custom calls question loop. The first question in
the loop prompts you to enter the 4-digit number that identifies a specific instant call button
on the front panel of the Model 25. The layout and numbering of the instant call buttons will
depend on whether or not the encoder is equipped with a keypad and display. Please see
“Instant Call Key Numbering” on page 14 for description of instant call button numbering.
INSTANT CALL BUTTON SELECT (0000-0358)
PC1>0004
Note: Please remember that the lower right hand key (0054 or 0p59) of each panel is
reserved as that panel’s CLEAR key. If the review-before-send option is enabled
then the lower left key (0p50) is reserved as the SEND QUEUE key.
Once you have entered the 4-digit number identifying the instant call button to be
programmed, the Model 25 will prompt you to enter the leading digit and page code
information for the page (or pages) assigned to that button.

If after typing in the leading digit and page code, you press the ENTER/RETURN key on the
PC keyboard, the encoder will program the instant call button for this single page and return
to the start of the instant call question loop.
To program multiple pages into a stack assigned to an instant call button, follow each entry
with the key sequence Control + J (or Control + ENTER, this is the equivalent of pressing the
ENTER button on the front panel of a Model 25 with a display and keypad). After the last
entry, press the ENTER/RETURN key on the PC keyboard. The routine should look like the
following on the monitor.
