Programming - Front Panel
025-9567E 79
This entry sets the “OFF” time (the gap between DTMF digits) of the preprogrammed DTMF
digits assigned to this leading digit. The encoder expects a 3-digit response (000 to 999). The
increment used is 0.01 seconds. This gives a range from 0.00 seconds to 9.99 seconds.
Question 5 - Tone Selection
The encoder expects a single-digit response to this question (0 or 1). The digit determines
whether the encoder uses standard DTMF tones or the Knox DTMF tones. The valid
responses are:
0 = Standard DTMF
1 = Knox DTMF
Saving the Changes
Once the single-digit response for “Question 5” has been entered, the Model 25 will
immediately begin to load all changes made in this section to memory to be used until new
changes are made. During the time that the Model 25 is loading this information to memory,
the display will appear as shown here.
CAUTION
Do not remove power or press the RESET button while the Model 25 is loading the
memory, otherwise incorrect information could be loaded requiring reprogramming.
Once the Model 25 completes the loading procedure, it will return to the first question in the
two-tone programming section, “Question “bo”” on page 69. You may select another leading
digit to format or press RESET to exit the programming mode back to the idle state.
