Entry Mode Description

DIRECT - The Select Relays will close prior to the tones being
sent and remain closed for the entire time of the transmission.
This mode should be used if the Select Relays used to directly
key transmitters. This is the default mode.

MOMENTARY - The Select Relays will close, then open prior
to the PTT relay closing and tones being sent. This mode
should be used if the model 25 is mounted in a console and
the Select Relays are connected in parallel with the channel
select buttons of the console.
At the next prompt, enter a 2-digit response (00 to 99) to set the Keyup Delay. The range is
from zero seconds to 9.9 seconds in 0.1 second increments. The default setting is zero
seconds (enter 00). A typical value for this parameter is 1 second (enter 10). This sets the
delay time between the Model 25 keying PTT and the generation of the first paging tone.
KEY-UP DELAY (x100MS)

At the next prompt, enter a single-digit response (0 or 1) enable or disable the Review Before
Send function. The default setting is “0” for Disabled.

When Review Before Send is enabled, the instant call button at the lower left corner of the
Instant Call array must be pressed in order to send the calls assigned to the previously
selected instant call button. When Review Before Send is disabled, the instant call button at
the lower left operates as a normal instant call button, just like all the rest.
At the next prompt, enter a 2-digit response (00 to 99) to set the Stack Delay. The Stack
Delay is the time between pages whenever an instant call stack is being sent. The range is
zero seconds to 9.9 seconds in 0.1 second increments.

At the next prompt, enter a single-digit response (0 or 1) to enable or disable the Simul-
Select Function. Zero selects normal operation (default setting) and “1” selects the Simul-
Select Function.

Most consoles require some sort of “simul-select” button to be pressed in order to allow the
selection of more than one channel simultaneously. Setting this parameter to “1”, results in
