The following table describes the labels in this screen.
8.4 DHCP
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, RFC 2131 and RFC 2132) allows individual clients to obtain
TCP/IP configuration at start-up from a server. You can configure the NR2301’s WLAN as a DHCP server
or disable it. When configured as a server, the NR2301 provides the TCP/IP configuration for the clients. If
DHCP service is disabled, you must have another DHCP server on your LAN, or else the computer must
be manually configured.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Auto Select Auto to have the NR2301 automatically connect to the first available mobile
network.
Manual Select Manual to manually select a preferred network.
Operator Name This shows the ISP name.
Status This displays Current to display the PLMN to which your NR2301 is currently connected.
This displays Available to display other PLMNs available from your ISP.
This displays Forbidden to display PLMNs available by other ISPs. To connect to one of these
networks you need a working SIM card of the ISP shown.
Network Type This shows the type of network the ISP provides.
Select Click Select to have the NR2301 establish a connection to the selected mobile network.
PLMN This shows the PLMN number.
Search Click Search so the NR2301 can search for PLMNs in the area. You need a working SIM card
to be able to scan for PLMNs.
Return Click this button to return to the APP MODULE list.
