9.3.6 UPnP
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is a distributed, open networking standard that uses TCP/IP for simple
peer-to-peer network connectivity between devices. A UPnP device can dynamically join a network,
obtain an IP address, convey its capabilities and learn about other devices on the network. In turn, a
device can leave a network smoothly and automatically when it is no longer in use. See Section 9.16.6
on page 100 for more information.
Use the UPnP screen to enable or disable UPnP on the NR2301.
To access this screen, click APP MODULE > Firewall > UPnP.

XClick the X next to an entry to clear it.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the NR2301.
Return Click this button to return to the APP MODULE list.
