20.2 The System Log Screen
Use t he Syst e m Log screen t o see t he syst em logs. Click Syst em M onitor > Log to open the
Syste m Log screen.

The following t able describes t he fields in t his screen.
5 Notice: There is a norm al but significant condition on t he syst em .
6 Inform ational: The syslog contains an inform at ional m essage.
7 Debug: The m essage is int ended for debug- level purposes.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Level Select a severit y level from t he drop- down list box. This filter s search result s accor ding t o
t he severit y level you have selected. When you select a severity, t he Device searches
thr ough all logs of t hat severity or higher.
Category Select the t ype of logs to display.
Clear Log Click this t o delet e all the logs.
Refr esh Click this to renew the log scr een.
Export Log Click t his to export t he select ed log( s).
Em ail Log Now Click t his t o send the log file( s) t o the E- m ail address you specify in t he M a in t enance >
Logs Se t t in g screen.
Syst em Log
# This field is a sequent ial value and is not associat ed wit h a specific entry.
Tim e This field displays the tim e t he log was recorded.
Facility The log facilit y allows you t o send logs to different files in the syslog server. Refer t o t he
docum ent ation of your syslog pr ogram for m ore details.
Level This field displays the severit y level of t he logs that the dev ice is t o send t o t his syslog
server.
Messages This field states t he reason for the log.
