8.2.3 Security Settings
The system supports various authentication and data encryption methods when wireless settings are
manually configured. The security type includes: None, WEP and WPA-PSK.
Open: No authentication is required.
WEP: WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) supports key length of 64/128/152 bits.
802.11 Authentication: Select from Open System, Shared Key, or Auto.
WEP Key Length: Select from 64-bit, 128-bit or 152-bit key length.
WEP Key Format: Select from ASCII or Hex format for the WEP key.
WEP Key Index: Select a key index from 1 through 4. The WEP key index is a number that
specifies which WEP key to use for the encryption of wireless frames during data transmission.
WEP Keys: Provide WEP key value; the system supports up to 4 sets of WEP keys.
