6.2 Headset
Using a headset allows you to make and receive calls without using the
handset.
The telephone supports wireless headsets that enable the user to
answer and end calls remotely, via the headset.
• If you are using a wired headset, connect the headset cable to the
connector marked .
• If you are using a wireless headset, connect the radio base to the
connector marked .
Note: Using a wired headset requires an adapter cable, see 2.1.2
Required Headset Adapter on page 4.
By default, the phone is set to connect calls to the loudspeaker. If you
are using a headset, you can switch to the headset preset mode to have
calls connected to the headset instead.
