9.2 Inquiry
When you make an inquiry, you place an ongoing call on hold while 
calling a third party. 
9.2.1  Making an Inquiry
To make an inquiry to a third party, do the following:
1. Press Hold (or any line key).
2. Enter the number to the third party.
When the third party answers, you can switch between the calls, 
transfer the call, create a conference or end the active call.
9.2.2 Switching Between Calls
You can switch between the ongoing call and the call on hold. When you 
do this, the call that was put on hold is retrieved, and the active call is put 
on hold.
To switch between calls, do the following:
• Press the line key for the call on hold.
OR
Press more..., select Retrieve [call on hold], and then press Select
Note:  You can terminate the ongoing call by replacing the handset or 
pressing  . The call on hold still remains and can be 
retrieved.
9.3 Transfer
You can transfer a call to an extension number, an external number, your 
mobile phone, or to the operator. The call can be transferred either 
before or after the third party answers.
