14.3.3 Adding New Shortcut From Contacts
To add a shortcut from your contacts list, do the following:
1. Press and press a shortcut key that is not programmed.
OR
Press an unprogrammed shortcut key.
The message “Not programmed! Program shortcut?” is displayed.
The shortcut key indicator starts flashing slowly.
2. Press Yes to program the shortcut.
3. Press more..., select Add new from Contacts and press Select.
4. Select an entry in the call list that you wish to add a as shortcut and
press Add.
5. Press Done to save the shortcut. The new shortcut appears in the
display immediately.
Note: You can edit the details before pressing Done.
14.4 Edit a Shortcut
To edit a shortcut you can either go through the Shortcuts menu, or via
the shortcut directly. See below.
14.4.1 Editing a Shortcut
To edit a shortcut, do the following:
1. Press . The second shortcut page opens.
2. Press more..., select Edit Shortcuts and press Select.
3. Press the shortcut that you wish to edit.
The Edit window appears for the selected shortcut. The shortcut
key indicator starts flashing slowly.
4. Make the changes you want and press Done.
OR
1. Press and hold the shortcut key that you wish to edit.
The Edit window appears for the selected shortcut. The shortcut
key indicator starts flashing slowly.
2. Make the changes you want and press Done.
