14.3.1 Adding New Shortcut Manually
To add a shortcut manually, do the following:
1. Press and press a shortcut key that is not programmed.
OR
Press an unprogrammed shortcut key.
The message “Not programmed! Program shortcut?” is displayed.
The shortcut key indicator starts flashing slowly.
2. Press Yes to program the shortcut.
3. Enter a phone number in the Number field and a name in the Name
field. Switch between the fields by pressing the navigation keys.
The number can be an extension number or an external number
preceded by an external access code.
Note: If you wish the programmed number to be the shortcut
label rather than a name you enter, press Done after entering the
number.
4. Press Done to save the shortcut. The new shortcut appears in the
display immediately.
14.3.2 Adding New Shortcut From Call List
To add a shortcut from the call list, do the following:
1. Press and press a shortcut key that is not programmed.
OR
Press an unprogrammed shortcut key.
The message “Not programmed! Program shortcut?” is displayed.
The shortcut key indicator starts flashing slowly.
2. Press Yes to program the shortcut.
3. Press more..., select Add new from Call List and press Select.
4. Select an entry in the call list that you wish to add a as shortcut and
press Add.
5. Press Done to save the shortcut. The new shortcut appears in the
display immediately.
Note: You can edit the details before pressing Done.
