This chapter describes the start-up procedure of the drive.
Start-up procedure
1. Only qualified electricians are allowed to start-up the drive.
2. Make sure that the installation of the drive module has been checked according to the
checklist in chapter Installation checklist, and that the motor and driven equipment are
ready for start.
3. Perform the start-up tasks instructed by the cabinet-installer of the drive module.
4. Switch the power on, setup the drive control program, and perform the first start of the
drive and motor. See the ACS530-04 quick installation (3AXD50000810383 [English])
or ACS530 firmware manual (3AXD50000728268 [English]). If you need more
information on the use of the control panel, see ACS-BP-S Basic control panels user’s
manual (3AXD50000048685 [English]).
For drive modules in which the Safe torque off function is in use:
