Installing option modules
Disconnect the drive from the power line. Lock the main disconnecting device and ensure
by measuring that there is no voltage.
 Option slot 2 (I/O extension modules)
1. Put the module carefully into its position on the control unit.
2. Tighten the mounting screw.
3. Tighten the grounding screw (CHASSIS). Note: The screw grounds the module. It is
necessary for fulfilling the EMC requirements and for proper operation of the module.
 Option slot 1 (fieldbus adapter modules)
1. Put the module carefully into its position on the control unit.
2. Tighten the mounting screw (CHASSIS). Note: The screw tightens the connections
and grounds the module. It is necessary for fulfilling the EMC requirements and for
proper operation of the module.
