To Set Bolus Smulaon Mode
Bolus mode allows the physician to set a me period for therapy to be on and a me period for therapy to be
o. Aer a smulaon period expires, a lockout phase begins during which no smulaon can be acvated.
Aer the lockout, the paent can manually restart smulaon for the set me period. When a program is set
to bolus mode, the leer B is displayed on the Operaonal Display screen with informaon about the “on” or
ome remaining.

Smulaon is on for the me displayed (in hours and minutes or in minutes
and seconds).
Smulaon is in a lockout phase, where smulaon is o and cannot be
restarted unl the displayed me expires (in hours and minutes or in
minutes and seconds).
Smulaon is o, the lockout phase is nished, and the bolus program can
be restarted.
NOTE: When the bolus lockout me expires, the paent must use the
programmer to restart smulaon.
To set the smulaon mode to bolus:
1.
From the Program screen, press the Balance key unl it highlights the SmMode eld. The SmMode

screen appears.

Press the Amplitude Increase key unl BOLUS appears in the SmMode eld.

NOTE:
Bolus mode can provide up to 18 hours of “on” me and 18 hours of “ome.
Since the paent cannot start the bolus smulaon during the lockout phase, many clinicians enter a
one-second “ome so that the paent can restart smulaon when desired.
4. Press a Scroll key to highlight the desired me eld (H for hours, M for minutes, or S for seconds), and4.
press the Amplitude Increase key or Amplitude Decrease key to increase or decrease the value.

Aer you nish seng all values for “on” me, press the Balance key to highlight the O eld.

7. Press the Balance key to highlight the MagnetUse eld.7.

Press the Amplitude Decrease key to change the magnet mode.
