placethemonanapprovedantistaticmatthatiselectricallygrounded.
AfterunpackingtheSBUONT,inspectitfordamage.Beforeplanningtheinstallationofthe
SBUONT,thetechnicianshoulddothefollowingtoverifycomponentintegrity.
1. UnpackboththeSBUONTandpowersupply(packedseparately)toensuretheunitsare
visiblyinta
ctandarenotmissinganycomponents.
2. ExaminetheSBUONTenclosure,fibermanagementguide,associatedterminals,
weatherresistantgrommets,fiberconnector,telephone,DS1,andEthernetportsfor
usability.
3. ExaminethepowersupplytoensurethattheUPS,batteryandpowercordarepresent
andsound.
