Moving your instrument
WARNING
Heavy Weight
The instrument weighs over 50 kg (110 lb). Do not attempt to lift the
instrument alone. Always use two or more people when lifting or carrying the
instrument into position.

The lamp compartment contains positions for two hollow cathode lamps.
The D
2
lamp module is located within the lamp compartment, on the lower left side
and is interlocked to prevent inadvertent exposure to hazardous UV radiation.
Power to the lamp is removed when the deuterium lamp panel is removed.
