This chapter describes how to maintain your Agilent 55B AA system.
You should keep a record in your Instrument Log Book of all maintenance carried
out.
CAUTION
Before you remove any hardware, you must shut down the instrument.
Maintenance schedule - general
Daily
 Check the exhaust system has positive extraction.
 Check the gas supplies.
 Check all hoses and connections for damage, leaks and wear.
 Clean the instrument.
 Clean the burner.
 Empty the drain/waste vessels.
 Spray chamber and liquid trap – detailed below.
