Modes of Operation
There are three standard modes of operation: ON, OFF, and Standby.
ON mode
ON is the fully operational status of the system. The instrument and the source
are on. When MassHunter Data Acquisition is opened, the instrument
automatically goes into ON mode.
OFF mode
When in the powered OFF state, the system is vented and the instrument is
turned off to allow for maintenance or to prepare for long periods of non-use.
