Routine Tasks
Calibrant Delivery System and Divert Value
The following procedures describe routine maintenance tasks for the calibrant
delivery system (CDS) and divert values.
Checking calibrant levels
Perform this procedure monthly or weekly if you tune the instrument frequently.
Enough tuning mix must be present to immerse the end of the intake tube.
If the tuning mix level is within a few millimeters of the end of the intake tube,
refill the calibrant bottle.
