Connect the Power
Cable
To connect the power cable to the VSpin:
1. Turn off the VSpin.
2. Verify that the voltage supplied to the VSpin meets the specifications
in “Laboratory Requirements” on page 23.
3. Plug one end of the power cable into the power entry receptacle at
the rear of the VSpin.
4. Plug the other end of the power cable into an appropriate grounded
electrical socket.

Computer Functions The computer you connect to the VSpin is used to:
❑ Control the VSpin
❑ Configure VSpin settings
❑ Diagnose problems
Minimum System
Requirements
Make sure that your computer meets these requirements:
❑ Pentium 3 or better
❑ 256 MB RAM
❑ Windows 2000 or Windows XP
❑ 200 MB free hard disk space
❑ RS-232 DB-9 serial port
