The headset jack is located on the left side of the Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch 4068 Phone set. By
default the set is configured to detect headset connection.
If the headset is plugged in, the audio is sent to the headset. The hands-free key allows you to
switch from handset to headset.
1.6.2 External Station Speaker
The external station speaker jack is located on the left side of the Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch
4068 Phone set (in the same way as for headset).
Plug the external speaker's jack into the associated set connector. To take the external station
speaker into account, customize the Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch 4068 Phone set as described in

an External Equipment
1.7 Plugging a PC to the Set
The Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch 4068 Phone set is equipped with the LAN switch function.
A PC can be connected to the set connector labeled PC, and located under the Alcatel-Lucent
IP Touch 4068 Phone set.
