2.7.3 Initializing a Three-Party Conference
A three-party conference may be initialized by the attendant if there is an on-hold call and a
conversation call, see figure: Telephone Area Example (Internal Second Party is in
Conversation, Internal First Party is On Hold) or figure: Telephone Area Example (External
Second Party is in Conversation, Internal First Party is On Hold)
Pressing the Conference sofkey puts the first party, the second party and the attendant in
conference.
The screen displays:

The following softkeys are available:
Transfer To leave the conference and let the two parties in conversation
Cancel To cancel the three-party conference and continue the conversation with:
- The first party when consultation call to an internal user
- The second party (external party) when consultation call to an external
user
Release To leave the three-party conference and release the two parties
End conf To leave the three-party conference, continue the conversation with the
second party and put the first party on hold
